"Dancing With the Stars" pro Cheryl Burke recently confirmed that she and Maksim Chmerkovskiy hooked up. Meanwhile, Burke also admitted that she didn't only hook up with Chmerkovskiy. In other news, Burke also weighed in on her least favorite celebrity partner, "90210" alum Ian Ziering.
In an interview on "Allegedly With Theo Won & Matthew Cole's" podcast, the 31-year-old professional dancer said that she and Chmerkovskiy practically grew up together. There was a time when she went out with fellow pro Mark Ballas. The pro said that she would typically Google information about her partners the minute she finds out who she will be paired with for a particular season.
Unfortunately, their relationship didn't last because Ballas eventually went on to date BC Jean. However, she didn't have to Google Zieing because Burke was aware that he was cast on "90210" several years ago.
The half Asian performer revealed that she was only allowed to watch one hour of TV per week when she was still in school, and she would always watch "90210." Unfortunately, she wasn't very pleased when she got Ziering as her partner because she wanted to work with the likes of Jason Priestley, Luke Perry or "Saved By the Bell" alum Dustin Diamond.
Meanwhile, the pro confessed to asking producers to boot her and Ziering off the show as soon as possible.
However, the results were not up to them, but the viewers.
She added that there were also several moments when she thought of injuring herself just so she no longer had to work with Ziering.
"Dancing With the Stars" season 22 airs Mondays at 8 p.m.
